Zhe Gao, graduated from Rutgers University, USA in 2019 with a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Currently serves as the Deputy Director, associate professor,and master’s supervisor of the Department of Communication Engineering, College of Information and Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Normal University. His research areas include data analysis, development of wearable smart devices, empowerment of art (dance) education through digital technology, smart manufacturing, and systems engineering. Since 2006, he has held positions in several leading manufacturing companies in China and the U.S., with extensive R&D and management experience in automotive manufacturing, tool manufacturing, vacuum coating technology, materials manufacturing, and autonomous driving, actively involving in the internationalization process of Chinese enterprises.
